Food intolerances - a major obstacle to great health

We work under the same roof as Alison from Healthy Eating so the other day when she suggested holding a presentation on how to be the best you can be, we were naturally excited (look at the end for your invitation). I started reading through her success stories and realised time and time again, medical conditions that seemed untreatable or caused terrible quality of life, were often reversed once certain foods were removed from the person’s diet. Gout

Gout is a form of arthritis. The big toe is affected most but ankles, hands and knees also are involved. A gout attack usually comes on very quickly, often overnight, with extreme pain and swelling in the joint. The skin over the joint can become red and shiny. Without treatment, the pain usually goes away in about a week. Left untreated, however, over time attacks can become more frequent and more severe.
