Usage:
Coloxyl with Senna tablets are for the treatment of constipation. They contain a stimulant laxative (sennosides) and a stool softener (docusate).
Ingredients:
Docusate Sodium 50mg, Sennosides 8mg
Dosage:
Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets at night, increasing to 4 tablets at night if no relief is obtained.
Precautions:
Laxatives should only be used short term under the guidance of a medical professional. Increasing your fluid intake may help relieve constipation as can gradually increasing fibre in your diet. If you do not have a bowel movement after taking these tablets for 4 days, stop the treatment and see your doctor.
