Conjunctivitis is a common condition caused by inflammation of the membrane that protects the white of the eye and inside the eyelids. Conjunctivitis caused by bacteria is very contagious and care should be taken not to spread the infection to the other eye or other people. The eye/s are often red, irritated, gritty, sore and uncomfortable. There can be a sticky white or yellow discharge that can glue the eyelids together.
Our accredited Pharmacist can offer you a consultation and conjunctivitis treatment for infants from 3 months old now. Book an appointment here or come in store Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
Treatments are only supplied under the Pharmacist's discretion. Consultations are not funded so incur a charge. In addition, any medication supplied at the consultation is an extra charge to the consultation fee.
This consultation needs to be done in person in the pharmacy.
