Usage:
Proctosedyl ointment is used for the relief of haemorrhoids by reducing swelling, numbing pain and relieving itching.
Ingredients:
Contains hydrocortisone 5 mg/g, cinchocaine hydrochloride 5 mg/g and inactive ingredients liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin and wool fat.
Dosage:
Adults: Apply to the affected area three times a day for the first week, twice a day for the second week and once daily for the third week.
Precautions:
Use only as directed. Avoid use in uncontrolled infections. Short term (3 weeks) use only. Consult your doctor if there is bleeding in the area, noticed on your toilet paper.
