Naprogesic is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) which is specially designed to treat the cause of period pain. It does this by inhibiting prostaglandin production. Naprogesic should be taken with food by women following puberty.
Naproxen Sodium 275mg
Adults & children over 12 years: Take 2 tablets with food with the onset of pain, then take 1 tablet every six to eight hours if required. Maximum of five tablets in 24 hours.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have a history of high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, gastro-intestinal ulcers, suffer from indigestion, stomach ulcer or stomach pain, asthma, or are currently taking another medication. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications, or are currently taking anti-inflammatory medication. Do not use if you are taking warfarin.
