Usage:
Vectavir cream can be used at the first sign of tingling, itching or burning in the treatment of cold sores of the lips and face.
Ingredients:
Penciclovir 1%, Propylene glycol.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: Apply cream to the coldsore/s every two hours daily during waking hours, for 4 days.
Precautions:
Consult your doctor before using in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Take care to avoid spreading the cold sore by not touching it or sharing towels etc or kissing. Not for use on mucous membranes & eyes.
